A Short, Special Appeal for Our Preservation Fund — Over the coming weeks, we’ll be putting the preservation of our worship space (as represented most recently by the restoration of our historic exterior stairs) front and centre for a bit with a short-term fundraising crusade
On Sept 27, watch for a special recognition graphic celebrating our community’s support for the stair restoration. It’ll be our own version of a “donation thermometer.
From Sept 27 -Nov 1, with a $20 donation toward the Preservation Fund, you can buy a little bit of “brickwoek” that will fill out the stair-repair graphic (as well as the actual Preservation Fund account)
And finally, on Sunday November 1, as part of our 160th Anniversary service, we’ll make another push for the Preservation Fund, with some convenient, anniversary-themed giving options, based on the number 160. (Think $1.60, $16, $60, $100, $160 …) Bring your credit/debit card, cash or cheque book to be an anniversary giver.
After that, the campaign will be complete! Short and sweet. Our hope is that, together, we can get the stair restoration paid for, while also renewing awareness of the importance of the Preservation Fund for the care of the worship space entrusted to us.
